Establishing a Trauma
Network within ISQIC
When severely injured patients cannot be managed at non-trauma centers, they need to be transferred or “re-triaged” to trauma centers. However, re-triage is a long and complex process that often takes over 4 hours and may require communication with multiple different trauma centers as well as coordination with EMS and other key stakeholders.
