Announcements and Meetings
ISQIC Fall 2018 benchmarking reports were recently released in October 2018. These reports used the NSQIP Collaborative SAR dated January 2017 through December 2017 and process measures data pulled in September 2018 to display your hospital’s outcomes in comparison to other participating hospitals in Illinois. The reports were delayed from the usual September release because they include a number of new models which have been added to a separate slide deck containing the caterpillar plots.
The ISQIC Video Coaching Project: Laparoscopic Colectomy is progressing. Learn more about the project here.
ISQIC Pilot Grants are available for all hospitals to apply on a rolling basis. Applications can be found on the ISQIC documents tab.
Surgical Site Infection Toolkit is available on isqicdata.org.
In order to share and more broadly circulate our opioid reduction resources, they can now be accessed without logging into isqicdata.org. On the Opioid Reduction Initiatives page you will find access to webinars and additional resources that can easily be shared with others at your hospital.
To propose topics that are of interest to your hospital, questions, success stories, or challenges related to implementing opioid stewardship initiatives at your hospital, please contact Brianna D'Orazio at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Starting in April, the Coordinating Center will send newsletters quarterly rather than monthly. We will continue to keep you up-to-date when there are important announcements.
